What do you think of the Amero Currency Plan?

Do many people know of this? I’m not trying to conspriacy theory here, but this is going to happen in 2010. This above website will tell you everything you need to know. I just want to know what americans think of this. This idea will indoublty kill the middle class in 2010 by combining Canada, U.S. and Mexico’s economies. By forging all three curriencies together it will create a stronger global fight in world trade. B/c China has grown so much, and the Euro has also de valued the american dollar, the move to use the Amero in the short run will kill the Middle class, but in the long run(75-100years) the middle class will slowly grow back.
Have you heard of this??
And what do you think??
I think you posting about economic issues is like me posting about nuclear physics issues.
i think it will be implemented … and eventually in some years there will be a world currency and the people of the world will be ripped off centrally instead on nationally ..
I think the Euro is already a failure..the UK is not getting into this flim flam and the biggest mistake the Euro community did was to snub Turkey…lots of Muslims feel the rejection..the Euro is only cutting their own throat when they devalued the $$..soon even Germany will feel the pressure as they had to take in a lot of problems since the fall of the Communist gov’t and they had to take the Eastern part of Germany back..
its going to be a mess a right but i would not believe all this can happen by 2010..that is only three years away.
a WWIII is already begun (as reported in the conservative media) and by the time this war heats up the world economy and yes most of the middle class savings will be wiped out.

Doing this sure would solve the illegal Mexican immigration problem and create a boatload of construction jobs (for improving Mexico’s infrastructure) for years.
I agree. Unfortunately, this idea only works towards the “Conspiracy Theory” of “The New World Order”. This is a plan that coincides with Bush’s plan to open the borders to alien workers. And yes, you’re right, this will kill the middle class for sometime. If the NWO is real, and all signs have pointed to yes, then they must be stopped. Down with the NWO and up with Democracy. We need a world of peace and freedom, not a world of control and fear.

It makes sense. The opening of our borders for trade. The ignoring of the illegal problem. Eventually the 3 will be so blended that we will all need one currency. The problem is what will this money look like? America is a sovreign nation and I would hope most Americans will not tolerate a new “universal” currency. Then again considering the proliferation of the left, anything is possible. After it happens, it will because Americans are not willing to fight - FOR ANYTHING any more, I hope they at least give it a new name. The Amero STINKS.

A few weeks ago the news carried stories of business excepting peso’s here in the States. Illegal immigration is already undermining the middle class.
